Chief Technology Officer

Overview

Nubis is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to join our executive team. You'll be responsible for defining and executing our technology strategy, leading our engineering organization, and ensuring that our cloud computing platform delivers exceptional value to customers. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll help drive innovation and technical excellence across the company.

Responsibilities

• Define the company's technical vision and strategy aligned with business goals
• Lead and mentor the engineering organization, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Make architectural decisions and guide technology choices for the platform
• Collaborate with other executives to balance business needs with technical capabilities
• Stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities for technological advantage
• Represent the company's technical vision to customers, partners, and investors
• Establish and maintain high engineering standards and best practices
• Guide the development of IP and contribute to technical thought leadership

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
• Deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, or related fields
• Track record of building and shipping successful technical products at scale
• Experience leading and growing engineering organizations of 30+ people
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts
• Previous startup experience preferred
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree is a plus
